PCM-tuning tool Okay or Not?
I read that my 2000 Z28 should be tuned after major mods (cam and headers, etc.) I haven't performed the latter mods yet...just trying to get my ducks in a row. Will the tuning hand held sold by various companies (plug into accessory outlet type) perform this for me or do I need to find an outfit locally to perform the tune? Thanks

do not use handhelds they are a waste of time. go to a reputable dyno tuner prferrably, or atleast mailorder tune.

Stay away from the handhelds...
Use real tuning software and tune it yourself or take it to a professional. Keep in mind that every performance mod you make will require a tuning adjustment, so you'll save a lot of money if you tune it yourself....
Like ninobrn99 says, read the stickys in that thread.
