Dad says maybe mas air, or throttle body. but, he's a ford guy. never worked on pontiac & not too fond of my car. so need a little help here. could it be exhaust leak, or vacuum leak? car does feel like it has a misfire

Sounds like an O2 sensor to me. I'd make sure you didn't burn the wiring with the header install....

that's an insufficient switching code for your drivers side front O2 sensor. Usually see those with longtube installs but not so much with shorties. How many miles are on those sensors and like was said above make sure your O2 wiring isn't touching the header. If there are many miles on those sensors it may be time for some new ones. Easy way to check is swap that front one with the passenger side front, clear the codes, and see if the code follows it. If it does you'll get p1153 next time.

P1133 - 1999 Trans Am
so, my last post was in 2009 and this problem is still going on. P1133 just won't go away, despite changing all sensors, injectors, checked fuel pressure, maf. the car feels like idle is surging as well as seems to have a misfire. this all since i put headers on. car basically runs rough and is horrible. any ideas? ???? I did get other codes afterwards, P1153 and P0300. Those codes are gone now, but who knows?

Any chance you damaged the wiring harness somewhere? We've had a couple of members that tracked down their problems to wiring issues. Have you had your car scanned to read the live sensor data? Not talking DTC's, but the actual output from the engine sensors. Sometimes you can easily spot the cause of the problem with this method.

Normally:
Wiring
Exhaust leak
Bad 02 sensor
Car needs to be tuned
Double check your wiring, make sure you have no leaks, expecially near the sensor, swap the sensor with the other side, and finally, has the car been tuned?

thanks. now P0122
after reading your posts, i went to check the wiring. i found a vacuum leak, and changed the throttle sensor. cars sounds great, but, i did get a P0122 code now. i checked the volts 3.84 for the PCM.
