p0410 code and no ses light?

I haven't had the car to long.. but there is no ses light and i went to get my state inspection(Texas) and have to do emissions testing,, everything passed but this code that is the secondary air injection system,,, but i have no ses light... everything i searched on here for this code was throwing a ses light,, any info?? or advice?? i plat to get it deleated thru frost later.. but need the car to pass inspection now,, and cant wait for the turn around,,, just yet was waiting till i did headers and ory... could this be a old code that just wasnt cleared? i checked the fuse,, but the only one i saw was a relay... thanks

what most likely happened was the code was thrown and thte previous owner fixed the problem but never cleared the code... the codes get stored and the ses light stays off...

how ever...

i did have my cats shit out on my car and never had the ses light pop but i did have the codes for the 02 sensors due to the cats...

Thanks ill have my local autozone clear my code and see if it will pass then... i have 15 days to try to get it fixed or i have to pay for another inspection,,, i almost thought maybe some one disabled the service vehicle light,, but if dose illuminate while key in in run....

keep in mind that when you clear the codes it also clears readiness status. you will have to drive the car a bit under varying conditions to get them to reset before the car will pass.

Rodger that... guy at the inspection station to drive it about 150 miles or so and it would be good for another try..

The other possibility is that the computer has been tuned to not light up the SES light for that code. The HPtuners tuning software allows you to set up a trouble to set in the computer but not light up the SES

well that is a posibility,, i know i heard the air pump running the other day,,, maybe its just a clogged hose or the relay...
