    P0300 P0171 P0174 code errors resolved

Yesterday I found the culprit behind my P0171, P0174, and the latest one P0300. on my 2002 TA there was a hole/cut in the the small PCV tube going from the passenger front base of the intake manifold to the PCV valve.

Symptom: rough idle, SES codes above at random times, once in a while stalling at idle-1/8 throttle, slight hesitation off the line. no problems at WOT.

Solution so far: 2.5" of 3/8 braded fuel line and hose clamps to replace the 591 rubber grommet. dealer wants $111 for the hose because it's part of the whole assembly. The part is #591 on the PDF file -- it's part of assembly 565 ($111). The 550 hose was also suspect so I put hose clamps on both ends of that bad boy.

Go to the LS1 folder and look at the PCV pics and dealer part page...

    Peace,
    Tony

Thats awesome! Thanks for getting on here and tell your problem/solution. These are fairly common codes, and it will help somebody sometime if they search it out. Glad you got it fixed.

that's pretty common really. That's the first place I tell people to look if the symptoms sound like a vacuum leak. Glad you got yours figured out and thanks for posting.....will help someone else down the road.
