    P0132 code, bad oxygen sensor?...other ?'s inside

    Ok so I threw a p0132 and for the life of me i can't remember the other 2 codes. This one was new and it started running like crap after this.

    P0132 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1

    Is this the driver side front sensor? I did a search and i believe this is right. I would go get it checked again for the codes, but it honestly runs like complete crap. It died on me once, does ok at WOT, but very sluggish under 2k RPMs. Then the SES started flashing, and i know that's not good at all. The converter wouldn't lock and the cruise control quit working...weird.

    So i got a few newb and simple questions. I just want to be able to work on my car and not take it in, cuz this is my car and i want to fix it you know, learn something and save some money...

    Where is the front oxygen sensor? Near the header? Where exactly? A pic would be VERY helpful but i searched and came up empty. Which tools will i need. I moved away from home when i joined the military and i have no tools. I suppose now is the time to get a good tool set huh haha.

    Also, where is a good place to buy a decent replacement....this?

    Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the drivers side precat sensor. You can purchase an 02 socket and it's easy to get to/see from under the hood. Flashing SES is a misfire and that will affect the TC lockup. Need to scan again for the other codes. I'd take care of the sensor issue first then clear the codes and see if the MIL illuminates again.

    that is exactly what i plan on doing.
