P0113 code

i keep getting a P0113 coda on my 98 ta when i looked it up the internet told me it was the IAT sensor were us the sensor and how much is a new one.

and would this sensor make my tranny not kick down right away cause my tranny sliped yesterday and never did that till the code came on. any help would be great

It's located in the stock airbox/lid on the drivers side. Not expensive but check the wiring/connection first. Not sure about causing the trans issue, gearchatter.com will tell you what happens when that code sets.
