p/s pump question
is there anyway of knowing that the pump is going bad w/o just replacing it. I have a suspicion that the car is having a lil bit of a steering prob making the car drive straight then all of a sudden pull really bad..

I've never heard of a power steering pump making a car pull. The only thing thats ever done that to my car is the road or wind.

check the front end for worn bushings or ball joints. Could also be the tie rod ends.

What size tires are you running? I know with our shitty roads here my car will tend to wander down the highway when the grooves or ruts are bad. I wouldn't think it would be the pump though, it only pressurizes the system. Is threre any leaks from the rack? With all those parts replaced you have eliminated a lot of things. How are the struts?

245/45/zr17 275/40/zr17. I kno its not the road because ive driven on the road for along time and it doesent pull and all of a sudden it started pulling..... I havent checked the rack but im pretty sure it doesent leak... and the same w/ the struts im not real sure.. i kno every once in a while if i turn the ac on, something will squeek in the front... im not sure if its the struts squeaking or a pulley or somethin... the power steering pump leaks a tad though because i can see a lil bit of fluid on the alternator below
