Over heat
I had my the valve springs replaced and they disconnected the Battery while they did the install and now when I drive the car it seems to run hotter that it did in the past.
160 Therm and the needle always showed just below the 210 mark on the gauage.
Now it reads just above 210 mark?
What do you think bad Raditor cap, or is there air in the sysyem?
Thanks in advance
Bruce

blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
id say air in the system maybe ....uncap your radiator cap and let it run...if its bubbling then you got air in the system and you need to let it relax and stop bubbling.....also i wouldnt worry tooo much 99+ temp gauges are pretty much just dummy gauges anyways...if the car runs fine you should be ok..try the coolant trick..if that doesnt help then i dont know what to say..you also know with that low thermo its not doing anything different then a 180 unless you tune for it right ?
