Original Paint Order #'s
Alright-not sure where this has been answered or how to find...where exactly do you get your actual paint color/order #, for the body?

On the drivers door there is a sticker with the vin number and a series of codes - those are the options. The last number in the block should be one of these:
10 Artic white
11 Light Pewter
13 Sebring Silver
28 Navy Blue
41 Black
71 sunset Orange
81 Bright Red

Open the drivers door, look for this RPO option sticker. The paint code ends with U for example 81U. Take the paint option code to the dealership, a body shop supply store, or maybe any parts store and they can get you tube of exactly match touch up paint

Thanks...tried this once before, swear it's the right color and... darker than original. I'll try looking/finding it myself, keeping your advice in mind. Thanks again for the colors.

In the example above, I believe the U 8774 is also a paint related code, but I'm used to just using the 81U rpo code. Either way, that is the paint code code that matches what the factory put on the car.

Thanks- but weird- I have NG GM 398-Bright Red-81, WA 8774-General Motors and it is darker-is that because I didn't put a clear coat over the chips, too?

Weird. Friend suggested maybe a bad batch? Also, it's Scratch Fix 2 in 1 by Dupli Color-maybe it's the brand and I should try the one from the link above...car was always garage kept until lately, paint should match.

Just realized what I already have," Scratch Fix 2 in 1 by Dupli Color", IS the brand from the web address...anyway, thinking maybe I never shook it enough- cause now it looks a bit lighter and blends in better...

Hope it matches up better for you now

Can shake it all day no touch up paint is ever completely perfect match silver and other metallic being the worse. Color looks.different from a spray gun that just a touch up brush and then there are age, fading, and other factors. The closest match you can get is GM and Mercedes and other black non metallics . Except.if the black has faded otherwise GM black is about as plain a black as you can get with very little tint colors in it.

That 4 digit Wa code is what they use at the paint sores here to mix.it and on some cars the year can be added for what might be a slight variation of.that code.
