opening trunk

Does anyone have a car alarm system that opens there trunk. i just bought a prestige automatic starter and its a POS. the guy who installed it was a screw up. i cant open my trunk unless i do it manually. and my air conditioner dosent turn on when i use the automatic start. so if anyone has a remote that opens there trunk plz tell me so i can go talk to the guy about fixing mine

Is it just a remote start or an alarm too? Might not have the option. Do you leave the ac on when you shut the car off? It should come on if the car is started.

nope the ac turns on right when i put the key in and turn it. the car is on though.

The AC might not come on if the key is not in the on position. I am guessing that the BCM controls it, so if there is no signal from the key switch that there is power, it won't activate that circuit.

i have an autopage(i think) system. remote start, keyless entry and keyless trunk entry. when i got it, it didnt come w/trunk button, so i paid another $20 for him to include it.
