ok I got 2 that come on

While I was driving, my TCS light came on and ABS INOP light came on.

The light on the TCS button Shut off.

Whats going on? I have no TCS and ABS.

Could it be a loose sensor or a bad one? where are they located?

Did it turn on hitting the brakes? The TCS light on non TC cars comes on when the tires lock up like when braking on gravel. If it won't go off more than likely it is a sensor going bad. ABS sensors for the front are located behind the calipers rear one is in the differential housing.

I have question along the same lines my car has t/c whenever I do a brake torque my abs inop. light comes on... then I have to shut the key off for a while to clear the code... is there anything I can do to stop this, or is there something wrong just didn't know if this was normal or not.

You are thinking of the other TCS. That one activates to tell you that your front tires are slipping. and its not just on non TC cars. I have TCS and it comes on once in a while in the rain or gravel, even on normal roads.

The light I am talking about is when you manually turn off the TCS, the light comes on that says TCS OFF....thats the light that is always on now...MY TCS tuned off and doesn't want to turn back on even if I press the TCS button.

I used to get the same thing at the track when I do a burn out. Its common, yeah just restart the car and the sensor will clear its self. In my case the ABS INOP came on with the TCS OFF light while I was cruising. I turned off the car numerous times and the lights stay on lit.

I have the exact same issue. Behind my right front tire 2 wires sheared away from the ABS senser somehow. Reconnecting the wires didn't fix the problem, so most likely the senser is inop as well. Not too sure what caused the wires to break other then possibly coming loose from a bracket and getting caught in the tire while driving.

I had the same problem with abs inop and tcs off light, turned out to be my brake control module, I got a replacement on Ebay for 35.00 but they are EXPENSIVE new. I checked all the sensors first, then the ground wires on the radiator support. I had codes though too that were ecu malfunction, and voltage range.

its the electronic part connected to the abs module. ^ screws and it comes right off. Disconnect the plug thing-remove torx head screws-pull it out-slide new one in. Make sure you buy the correct one (with or without traction control)
