Oil ruined o2 sensors?
since i did my h/c/i swap on 98 ss. it has been throwin codes for o2 sensors and high idle. well it doesnt high idle anymore and it stopped after i tightened down intake a lil bit and i redid the pcv when i did swap but i did it wrong bc i didnt put the pcv valve near the throttle body. the car was goin through about a quart a week and the car wasnt running very good. everytime i looked there was a puddle of oil sitting against the throttle blade....well since i put pcv valve near throttle body it seems like it fixed it (no more oil goin through intake) its still throwin codes for 02 sensors. could it be that all that oil going through the engine ruined my 02 sensors? i had mail order tune done and got rear 02 deleted when i did header swap and i got the 02 extensions and already checked them. all good. i swapped out first set of 02s after install with other used ones and it still throwin codes.

02's are like spark plugs,,,they are part of regular maintainance and should be changed generally every 40-50,000 miles.
Sometimes you'll find after a header swap that the used 02 sensors just won't heat up quick enough and you get heater codes as well.
You didn't mention what 02 code you had specifically.
I found after the header swap on my car I had a heater problem. Car only had 50K on it. A new set of sensors cured it.
After the header swap on my wifes car it never had the problem, it also had 50K on it. Just depends on the car and how old the 02's are.
If they are oil coated it also affects their efficiency, could be slow switching codes you are getting???
In any event, if the car has some miles on it, and you've never changed the sensors, probably a good idea anyway to install new ones.

Nope. P0304 is engine misfire cylinder #4, which isn't used on a 98 F-body. P0504 also isn't used for this car. Not sure what that would be.
P0131 P0132 P0133 P0134 P0135 P0137 P0138 P0140 P0141 P0151 P0152 P0153 P0154 P0155 P0157 P0158 P0160 P0161 P1133 P1134 P1153 P1154 are all the O2 sensor DTCs for the LS1

Yeah those are both "O2 Sensor Insufficient Activity" for both the front O2 sensors. They could both be contaminated with oil deposits.

well i ordered a catch can from kentucky speed but still havent got it. its been a couple weeks now. it doesnt seem to be puttin oil in the tb anymore since i actually followed your pcv right up the CORRECT way lol. i can tell the car isnt runnin to its full potential. like if im in first and hit it, it wont even spin the tires like it bogs down and accelerates slow till like 4k and then breaks em loose. im thinkin that its bc of the o2 sensors, at least im hoping so.

hahah.
I would take off the TB, clean it well, Seafoam DEEP CREEP the inside of the intake, seafoam the brake booster, get her cleaned out by driving it, then change plugs and 02 sensors. That way residual oil is gone .
