oil pump help
hii everyone
i have a problem with my oil pump... the pressure is very low when the car gets hot.
""it is at the middle when im driving normaly""
some people say that the 2000 oil pump is not good.
should i change it to 2001 or 2002??? can i port the stock one and how ????
my car is 2000 z28 auto cammed

Change it out or your gunna toast a bearing ! I don't think they are any differences in the year as far as efficiency goes.

how low is low first off? You didn't swap the oil pump with the cam swap I take it? I wouldn't not play around with oil pressure. Get a ported LS6 pump, they're ~$100 and use a new o-ring when you replace it. Hopefully you don't already have a bearing issue.
Another thing I just thought of is the oil sender on the back of the block is known to go bad also so verify your actual oil pressure before tearing into the motor.
