    oil pressure sensor question

so i broke my oil pressure sensor when taking the intake off (rookie move, i know) on my 2000 firehawk. Anyways i have a 1 1/16th deep socket to put the new one on, however the deep socket is still to short to fit the new sensor. Is their a different way to get the sensor on, other than doing a relocation? or did i just get the wrong piece?

    thanks

There is a special socket you can find at your local auto parts store made to remove the OPSU

Adjustable wrench also works, just watch your torque on it do not to round off the edges and also slip and break the sensor again, that's what I used last time on mine and been running fine for a few years and tons of 1/4 passes.

OPSU sockets are about $8.00 at the parts store.
