Oil Pressure gauge sensor and rubber stop

Hi all. I snapped my OPSU in my 98TA when I was replacing my intake with the LS6. I was able to put it together with JB Weld but is not reading properly and I still need to replace it. I can't find it anywhere locally in Orlando area. I can order it online but I want to make sure I have the right part number : 12559781.

Is that the right one? I noticed that they make a similar OPSU but it only has one prong instead of 2 like mine. I'm assuming it won't work.

The other part number I'm looking for is the rubber stop that's attach to the chassis in the rear suspension area that prevents the rear axles from hitting the chassis directly. I think is called bumper stop or something.

Lastly do I need to remove the intake manifold to replace the OPSU? I have the OPSU special socket for and my hands are pretty skinny. Thanks in advance.

Yes that's the right PN for the '98 - it's different than the '99-'02. You can try to replace it with the intake on since you have the socket, but it's a PITA.

The other part you're looking for GM calls a "jounce bumper". The PN for the 16" wheels is 10164173. The PN for the SS/WS6 used to be 10282449 (shorter/blunt compared to the other) but it's not listed on gmpartsdirect as a good number anymore.

I have a 98 and my bump stops dry rotted,I was lowering it so I would have to take it out anyway but if you have a full stock setup I wouldn't worry about it I had done some crazy things in my car when it was stock and it never hit the stops so you don't have to worry about it bottoming out.

From what I have seen on this site gm doesnt make the bump stops anymore. People are going with a jeep or universal one. This was posted in the suspension forum. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/suspen...ump-stops.html
