    Oil Pressure gauge Question

I just replaced my water pump last week and i have now noticed that my oil pressure pump gauge has been reading weird. When i turn the car off it doesn't drop all the way to 0 it stays at 40, then when i turn the car on it raises up to 60 at idle and after about 10 mins of driving it will finally drop to about 40. I'm not sure if its just because the weather is colder and the oil is thicker or what.

    any ideas??? thanks

Sounds normal to me - the oil pressure gauge is the only one that doesn't go to zero when you turn the car off. It'll drop some when you turn the key on.
