It's tight but the brace is ok and best left alone. But the panhard rod must be removed( passenger spring may need adjusted to get the bolt out), along with the lower shock bolts , one 10mm bolt on the tank filler neck (behind the inner fender well), pull the 2 plugs on the hump wall drivers side (B4 you pull the tank) but after the straps are loose and removed or swung out of the way. Tilt the tank then reach in and release all the quick disconnects, (again B4 you pull on the tank) with the tank loose. Let the axle swing down some, then you can simply tilt the tank towards the rear and down. It will then slide right out with the filler neck being guided.

Too add (v6).... There is really no reason to remove the (factory) exhaust except to ease the work slightly.. The v6 single inlet/outlet muffler (factory) is twice as thick through the can than the single inlet/dual outlet mufflers we usually run *to mask that god awfull drone of the slow spinning 3800*lol. I was still able to work around removing it by removing the muffler hangers then letting it rest on the axle tube. When I lowered the axle the exhaust followed because of the spring loaded joints the v6 cars have (not a shit ton of play tho) @ the manny's. Which was enough to get the tank free.
