    It depends on rpm mostly.

on stock pump? Should be around 30-40 @ idle & IIRC 10 psi for every 1000 rpm above 2000rpm.

FBJ or Cutlas will know for sure.

stock pump it starts out at 60 till the car comes up to normal temp then doesn't go over 45lbs even on the highway doing 70mph. i gess its getting tired has 150,000 miles on it. I just used to see it at 60lbs more often.. its time for a oil change anyway any suggestions

Try to cut open the filter and drain it in a clean pan. See if any hints of metal (maybe run a magnet through it) or bearing material.

Oil weight could also effect pressure readings but not too much between 5W-30 to 10W-30. Now 20W-50 or some race oils then yeah, but I doubt you are running those.

If you do decide to go ahead and change the oil pump, either LS6 or Melling 10295 are great options. I wouldn't bother with the Melling 10296 unless you're going to do a cam upgrade as well. Stock or mild bolt on's wouldn't benefit from the high output/high volume.

150k miles isn't too bad, your car is 15 yrs old. Plenty of LS motors getting above 200k. Only reason I killed my LS1 was because I was abusing it and it caught me. (Over Rev'd on a burn out, hit the rev limiter twice).
