oil pan problems

So I am doing a 6.0 truck swap into my 1990 fullsize chevy truck, my issue is I have a 04 gto oil pan and have a new gto pickup tube and windage tray, the windage tray and pickup went together no problem but the oil pan seems to be off. It seems like the section in the pan the pickup tube slides into isn't allowing the pan to line up w the bolt holes on the block...has anyone had any problems like this. How do do fix it...thanks

did you change the oil windage tray to the LS1 style? That oil pan is off a LS1 so the windage tray will need to be also from a LS1.




Turns out it's your luck day and mine as well. I have a spare one that on hand. I thought I lost mine and found it today cleaning the garage.

I have a windage tray and new pickup tube for a 04 gto which is what the pan is...should I go back to the 6.0 vortec windage tray
