2000 ws6 with an oil leak from undercarrige at mate of rear oil pan and tranny housing (automatic). Any good/easy way to tell if from rms vs other? Any advise appreciated.

Check for color of the fluid. Brown would be oil and red would be trans fluid. Good Luck

reach to the back of the engine and make sure that it is not coming from the valve covers and leaking down. also check the oil filter and make sure it is not from there ( had that happen ).

pull the shiny round covers off and look through there. here's mine removed
