    Oil Drain Plug location?

    Where is the Oil drain plug at on a 2001 z28 camaro, Is it right by the oil filter?

    I thought so but when I screwed mine off nothing come out....almost like i'm taking the wrong thing off. The cap does have oil on it though, so I will go try again.

    ...............that could be a problem..it is facing towards the filter a little infront of the filter

    ok I uploaded a picture...the thing thats in the middle of the picture almost is the thing I took off where nothing came out....I only took the cap off and left the washer though.

    Problem Solved... I was only screwing off the cap and not the whole bolt.
