Oil????
I no some car and trucks require a certain type of oil to use and nothing else but that...What type of oil does the LS1 motors use I have a 1998 FireBird Formula

Black- 2000 Trans Am WS6
there is a ton of info on this site about that, do a search and read up......in short it takes 5w-30 from the factory,.....10w-30 is actually a bit better b/c it is more shear stable....5w-30 has a bigger cold temp range, but u are in NC so you dont have to worry about that really......aparently Penzoil Platnium is one of the best, from what I hear. On my next oil change I will be putting Amsoil in , cant go wrong there at all......read up

It just occurs to me If I have a Mobil 1 cap on my oil and run amsoil does that make me a poser?? lol
