    o2 sensors not hooked up after insall

    i was just wondering where to look to see if they are plugged in.......the scanner says drivers side #1...

    The plug comes in from above the K-member if I remember correctly. Should be pretty easy to check. Just look at the front O2 and see if it's plugged in or not.

    Very easy to check, you'll see the connector, just follow the sensor to the proper wire connector. If it is connected, might be the O2 is bad

    Yup, the plug for the front driver's O2 sits on top of the k-member right next to the oil pan. You can get away with driving without O2 sensors for a little bit (yes - even the front ones). So, don't worry too much. I wouldn't do it too long though. But generally speaking, the tune from the factory comes rich enough to keep you safe.

    thanks guys! i re-did the scan and it says bank 1 sensor 2 no activity.......so i'll make sure it is hooked up and if it is i guess i'll change it

    bank 1 sensor 2 is your drivers side rear sensor and not the front.

    damn that back sensor is not easy to hook up! i finally had to use some hemostats to hold the plug still so i could plug it in.
