    O2 sensors

    I am going to change my two upstream O2 sensors today. Is there anything i need to know besides disconnecting the battery to replace them?

    you shouldn't have to disconnect the battery to replace them, if you are disconnecting the battery to reset the ecu you shouldn't even have to do that, because the 02 sensors give real time or whatever you wanna call it data

    Make sure your harness runs stay away from the exhaust. The new sensors should have a dab of anti-seize on their threads. If not, go ahead and apply some. Be careful with the senders as they are breakable. There are special sensor sockets you can get at just about any of the parts chains that will make the job easier.

    Yep, check the routes of the wires. Also don't get grease or anything on the part of the sensor that goes inside. They come with a plastic cover on there. Leave it on until your ready to screw them in.
