Did you change the fuel filter?
Did you replace all the plugs? Are all the wires seated fully on the plugs and coils?
What did you gap the plugs at?
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

Kinda sounds like a misfire, like one of the plug wires aren't on all the way, bad plug wire, or one of the plugs is slightly cracked

get an ohmeter or if you have a multimeter set it to continuity check. Pull each wire out and check for resistance and/or open wire. If you have an open wire then thats your problem. If you have a wire with a huge resistance difference it could cause issues too. Almost everytime I replaced my plugs I check my wires and one is bad or has a high resistance reading. I just did my plugs and one of my MSD wires was bad at the crimp connector. i was able to redo it but I don't have any extra slack for future uses.

i am going to check the wires then because before i had replaced the plugs i didn't have this problem. i was considering on taking the NGK's out and putting the stock ones. thanks..

I would first just check and see if the wires are good and tight and if they are then i would pull the plugs and check the gap on them.

the 1st time i used NGK's I set a gap that I can't remember and had a bad and erratic idle. i pulled them out and went stock. I gave another try to the NGKs and i gap them at .050, no problems so far.

I think I gapped my NGKs at .45 when I replaced the plugs. Good so far.

ok guy problem solved it could off been one or a few things like for ex. when i gap the plugs a .051 it felt worst so i went back and took the advice i took the plugs back to .043. something that i notice was that when i was adjusting the gap i bented the tip on a few plugs. so i fixed that i also checked the wires one of them didn't look very good or bad so i changed anyways. Now it's working like the day i bought it. The cool part is that now it only takes me like 30 minutes to change the plugs.
So thanks you guys for all the help.
