    New Rad and Hood?

    Trying to shop...

My radiator has had a small leak since I got the car 3.5 years ago.

Looking at Be Cool and Griffins. Info on which is better, cooling differential...weight?

Need a new hood, the Fiberglass one is junked, last guy patched it some (internal side) and it coming apart. I want Carbon Fiber. It looks like ViS is the leading name among CF hoods. I've seen some others at different sites but lack confidence in buying those. I haven't seen anyone here, but does anyone have a CF hood?

Trimming weight and want the strength. I've seen what can happen to FG.
Thanks for your input on the rad.

I'm thinking of selling my CF SS hood if you would be interested. Only thing to be wary of is the CF hoods don't like heat. Most of them will get small dimples in them over the summer if it gets too hot. Mine got a few right after I got it last summer.

    Who made yours?

I just ordered the hood, from ViS.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but it was the company on Ebay that sells the wide body kit, CF doors, hatch, etc.

They are selling ViS hoods on eBay. But the word is that many people are selling "ViS hood!" I am hoping using an authorized dealer means I will get a good one.

Becareful when getting a hood, i just got a after market hood for my r/t dakota due to a accident. got it from BTG motoring and was shipped by ESTES shipping well it came damaged, i shipped it to a buddy's shop and he didn't think to note that the box was damaged on the invoice or anything else, well ESTES wont respond and BTG is giving me the run around. so refuse any damaged item, note it on the invoice, take pics before you even open it, best to just refuse it !

It is coming to my house. I got a feeling I'll get a notice that I have to go get it! And it will be checked thoroughly!
