    I'm gonna change my plugs and wires. Any suggestions?

    just did mine this weekend and all i got to say is that whatever engineer decided to make the 8th plug that fucking hard to get to should be SHOT. but now that i know how to do it should take half the time. Removing the coil packs did help! read the above link helped out a lot.

    I did my plugs and wires on saturday, took about an hour. Driverside is easy. First three on pass side you can get from the top. then jack up the car and get the last plug on the pass side. My trick is....... I slide a spark plug socket over the plug, then use a rachet wrench, i think it was a 3/4 to back the plug out. Works like a charm, just dont drop the wrench, starter is right there.

    yea i am running the ngk tr55s i believe..great plugs but they are copper and wear hella fast..so when i do my header install i am going back to AC delco's i think ..iridium..besides that the msd wires are sweet

    +1....I do exactly the same! Get Iridium plugs, they are more expensive but they last longer!

    do not use msd wires everybody i talk to hates them i have no problems w/ taylor have them on both my cars and use ngk tr55 and have fun on #8 my arm is still fucked up from a week ago i removed the egr tube of the manifold that helped

    my bad..they hate them...your right..dont ruin a good thing..but i am curious on why those people hate the msd wires.

    If you ever put your car on the dyno, you probably wont use taylors anymore. We had a set on a car and we had all kinds of electrical interference from them.

    I have them and they are nice and smooth...exspensive....but nice!
