    New guy with a problem.

Morning all, my name is Dan.

I spend time over at the GrassRoots Motorsports board and someone there suggested I talk to you guys. I have a 305 from a Monte Carlo SS, casting #14093627, the 93 cxould also be 88. I've rebuilt the motor with gaskets, rings, bearings, port & polish etc. It was an automatic and I want to hook up my aluminum T-10 4spd. I have to have a 153 tooth flywheel because there aren't two sets of tapped holes for the starter, I also have a one piece rear main seal which seems to be a problem. When I get the drivetrain sorted out, I have a 1961 Corvair stationwagon body that will go on.

I don't have an F-body right now but I have messed with cars a bit. Below are some if the things I've built.

1952 Dodge that got T-boned by an old guy so I put it on a 1981 frame with a 360.

250cc Yamaha bobber. Cute but tough on the butt.

    1980 Malibu just for Auto-X.

    Fiat X-1/9 for Auto-X.

1966 Datsun 1600 roadster for my wife.

    1966 VW Bus on a Monty frame with a 350 mid-engine.

If you can help with the flywheel problem I'd appreciate it.

Thanks Bigron. I know this is an LS1 board, but I'll throw up pics of the Corvair when it's done anyway.
