New cam install
I just put a hot cam kit, BBK shorties, Comp Cams hardened push rods, and stock LS1 heads with a three angle valve job on my 6 speed 2002 T/A. I just wanted a little more power, but still wanted to maintain overall daily driver reliability. The thing runs great off idle but when the throttle is not steadily applied at low speeds(like when feathering the throttle to get going out of first or reverse and then releasing the clutch)it will want to die, or will die. If I feather the throttle I can keep it from dying. It idles at about 750 RPM but it is rough and misfires like crazy. I was just wondering if I should adjust the throttle adjustment screw on the TB. or widen the hole in the throttle blade, or allow more cam break in time. I'm fairly sure that it's not getting enough air at 0% throttle input. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Don't screw w/ the throttle body in any way
Your car needs a tune if you know any f-body owners in your area ask if they know which shop can give you a street/dyno tune. A hand held is not an acceptable tuner. What kind of hot cam, 219/228 115lsa? It will be interesting to see what a 50 state smog legal car w/ heads and cam puts down.
Did you change out the lifters, and what springs did you put in?

Red- 2002 SS Camaro
You need to tun it that is it. you can move the screw on the back of the TB to make it easer to drive but you need a tune and it will go away.

It was the GM Hot Cam Kit, 219/228 112LSA with LS6 springs, it's not anything outrageous. Even though they got rid of E-check around here I didn't want anything over the top. I didn't get it tuned yet but if that's all I need then I'll get on it. Thanks to all

Yeah the tune is what You need. Mine did the same thing, I could bump the TB to keep it running but not the "cure" and till you tune it you are missing a lot of the horsepower too. I gained more from my tune than I did in the cam itself. Ive got a 222/224 LSA112
