This needed?
I feel dumb now, i have been slowly doing a intake swap over the past few months in between working and moving. For some reason i cant explain i took off this piece and now have somehow seemed to misplace it.
(ignore the text on the picture)
this would be at least the 10th thing i have lost for my car in the move so i am not surprised.(including the throttle cable bracket and the brake booster line which i ordered a new one then ended up finding it when i went to put the new one in) To my understanding (which is probably wrong) it is used to operate the HVAC vents. I have the main vac line from that little part going directly to the nipple in the back of the manifold so there will be no vac leak. But i am still left with this little plug.
Knowing that it will cause my HVAC to not work properly is there anything else that would happen if i run my car without it for the time being

I'm a slightly lost since the pics are taken on both sides of the engine bay. But if you are strictly referring to that line that is supposed to plug into the passenger side of the manifold the only thing it will do not plugged in(with manifold plugged up) is your a/c vents won't work, I think only the top window one will. You'll hear it blowing just no air

Looks like you're gonna have to do some tracing to find where the other end of that hose is under the hood.

That solenoid is the AIR vacuum solenoid. If you wanna remove the AIR system, review this thread

yep. so you need to remove/block off all the other lines and tee's and just run one vacuum line off the back of the intake to the HVAC hookup near the PCM.
