Need some advice
I bought a raptor hood, painted it etc and just figured out that since there is no opening for it,the hood safety latch handle can not stick through to be pulled to release the safety latch. any experiences with this or ideas. I was just thinking of cutting the handle so when I pop the hood from the inside I might be able to reach it to release the safety latch.

maybe hook up a release cable to pull from the bottom side to release the latch.

Not unless you install hood pins

was thinking about cutting the handle short. I am going to see if when the hood is released if I can sneak my hand in far enough to trigger the safety latch if I shorten it. worse comes to worse though the cable idea sounds like the best bet. I'm hoping a few people with these hoods will see this and tell me what they did. cause I really hate hood pins!!! lol

I'm wondering if the firehawk hood safety latch would work here? but can't find any for sale anyway
