i am looking for the ls6 intake on ebay . question is what should i look for when bidding ? i have seen a few with a part number on them and the seller seems to make sure that the part number is shown in the picture. is that some sort of authintication for the part? thanks in advance

The part number just verifies that is is indeed an LS6 intake.

Try the 'for sale' section here. May get a better deal.

Understood.

I wouldn't pay anymore than $300 for a used LS6 intake.
Search long enough and you can probably find a good one for $250.

I sold my old one for $375 shipped. Although it came with brand new GM coolant lines and plugs.
