Need information please?

I have been struggling with a throttlebody issue and have a few questions.

How good is a stock throttlebody that is ported and polished verse an aftermarket one.

What will be the biggest difference with a ported throttlebody that I will notice, SOTP, ET reduction, Better MPG, HP, etc....

I ask because I am getting my stock TB ported/polished and the bump stop mod done next week, but if it is not going to make that much of a difference doing all that, then I could go with an aftermarket or just skip it and save my money. What does everyone think/know.

When I went to a ported TB, it already had the bump stop mod. I could really feel the difference in throttle response, and it had a little more go in the mid-high RPM's.

The most noticable difference though was the throttle response. Very good feeling after the ported one got on there.

Btw, I have a TSP ported TB.
