Need help with my front seats in my 99 ta .

The seats in my 99 ta will not do anything, I have no fire coming to the motor, I have checked the fuse box located inside of the car, there is fire at the fuse box but nothing at the main wire feeding the motors, under the seat, is there a relay somewhere that I don't know of? need help.

I don't think there are any relays, but I could be wrong. Have you checked the wires under the seats to see if anything is corroded or broken?

The power seats and the rear defroster are both linked to a silver metal 30 amp circuit breaker that is in the fuse block on the drivers side of the dashboard that is facing the drivers door.

Check to see if you can turn on your rear defroster, if that doesnt work as well, the circuit breaker is probably bad. As of two years ago, GM still sold the circuit breakers, I think they were $10-15 each at the dealer, I never could find an aftermarket one.

after posting I went back out side and started thinking about what might be wrong after checking the fuses and the circuit breakers there was fire so I started pulling and checking the wiring under the seat and found a connector with a hot and a ground wire ,the hot wire had broken so I have repaired it and now everything works but the seat motion back and forward. I have tried to bump the motors with a hammer but there is three motors and I have had no luck.which one of the motors is the one for the seat to move back and forward. want to remove it and check it off the seat. all the seat do now is make a bumping sound like it may be stuck.

It should be the one that is along the inside rail of the seat.

Power seats are nice, but in times like this I would prefer the self adjusting seats....
