    Unhappy need help guys

    i need to find some stock pistons.... i dont need forged but everywhere i look there all forged im guessing maybe stock they come forged..... but its for a 98 ls1..... and i think i have to bore it out one size bigger than stock please help guy sorry im not good with all the tech terms and stuff

    stockers are not forge 99% sure and if you are doing all new pistons why would you go stock. this is your chance and time to go better not bigger just better. install the best out there casue there internals and when your ready to add some serouis HP your motor can handel it with ease.

    lets just say doing the pistons cost 2500 for stockers and doing some better forge one for 33-3500 $ . and after doing that you will have a real strong set up

    I second that, for the amount of trouble and expenses it would be trying to get the internals back to stock I would put forged in there and then you never have to worry about it up until 700hp . Even if you're looking to sell, I would still side with forged and then point out to him that it only has a few miles on the forged and up your price a bit $$

    well i would rather just get stock piston i know it sounds dumb but i want to keep it simple my rods are good and dont want o replace anything i dont need too any location???????

    Stock pistion material is a Cast eutectic aluminum.
    If you go thorugh Gm im pretty sure the part number is 12575663
