need help diagnosing vibration
I have recently purchused a 2002 camaro ss and have noticed a vibration in the throttle. The vibration occurs at different points throughout the low rpms. It seems to peak at 2000 rpm and go away. The vibration happens in park and in drive. Could somebody please help me with what this could be.

sounds like you have a poly eurothane trans mount.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

No DTC's? No strange noises? Just go out and enjoy the car. It will tell u when it's sick.

If you're just sitting in the driveway revving it up constantly -well that's just silly. If you're doing it because you think you have a problem and you are trying to figure it out, I hope you have stopped anyway. Open the hood and look at the motor- reach over and blip the throttle. Hear or see anything unusual? Engines like this will set codes for misfire and other things- probably just your imagination.

nope not really any noises or anything, i was talking to somebody else today about it and they mentioned that it could be the harmonic balancer or the flywheel. Do u think one of these two could be the problem?

If there is anything wrong, good possibility it will be a mount somewhere. Balancer and Flywheel/flewplate, highly unlikely unless one of the two are warped throwing off your internal balance but you would have felt it throughout the RPM band. BTW, I did catch the park and drive deal. In park, your engine raps side to side when you snap the throttle. In Drive, you have a load and between 1500 - 2000 you see more torque. But check your engine mounts, transmission mount, and torque arm mount on the transmission. Check the rubber for any cracking or high wear.
