need help asap

I am doing the gear swap for the headlight motors and everything went pretty well except for one thing. When I turn the headlights on the motors cycle the lights down and when I turn them off they cycle up. I cannot figure out how the hell to fix this. If anyone has info or had encountered this problem before please give a stressed out guy a hand.

ok i figured it out and I feel like a dumbass. Just in case this gets archived I had the linkage installed backwards. I'll take a couple pics of how it should look and how I had it. Hopefully no one else will have this problem now.

You have the linkage on backwards.
