Is there a better one I can buy for a decent price? I suffer from pretty bad road rage my self at times but never anything searious, but there are times when I do rely on reving my exhaust to get things going. Although it takes a tole on my gas milage

I just thought they came lame like that. My 96 sounds fine but the 98 sounds real lame. My fiance makes fun of it everytime I use it.

Found my first project for this weekend. Thanks for the tips above guys!

i'm a lil confused..and d-runk! a had to go outside and test mine reading this thread and found that either side of my steering wheel horn sounds the same, along with using both. So what is 'low' and 'high'.. also neither sounded 'whimpy' IMHO. Car has almost 89000 and can tell no difference between horns and no 'girl-y'' sound...

So far as a better built "OEM" style, I don't know of one. I'd be willing to pay more for one myself!

Under the right side of your front bumper inside a little access door, you have two "horns" (sometimes refered to as "trumpets"), one emits a "high" note, one emits a "low" note at the same time when you press the horn button/pad. It doesn't matter which side of the pad/button you press, they both are supposed to blow at the same time, which has a "richer" sound than the "thinner" (sissy!) sound of just one. Hope this helps.
