    My Future Exhaust System...

Texas Speed stainless LT's, Texas Speed High flow catted Y-pipe, Magnaflow cat back system, and a cut-out. Does anyone have similar set-up? Also it was recommended that I should get it tuned after the install.
    What do you guys think?

If you plan to do any other mods anytime in the near future, wait for the tune. Otherwise, check out Frost - site sponser. His services are a great value, and many members here run his tunes.

Speaking of mods w/o custom tunes( have canned DS perf tune only).. Whats your opinion on how a car( 02 SS) would run rich or lean with > Kooks 1-7/8 Lt`s -3"-hi-flow catted Y -3''-Magna catback-Slp lid smooth bellow Blackwing air filter and CAI.?

I'd expect a slightly rich condition.

In addition to running rich you'll have a tendency to get some header pop if you dump the gas pedal at high rpms.

I do a little on mine. But I'm not done with the modding, so no re-tune yet.

I have the same setup except I have the offroad y-pipe. I did have to have my I-pipe on the magnaflow shorten down by about a 1 1/2 inches. Sound is good nice and quiet till you hit the gas pedal then it screams.

Your plan for the exhaust system is very similar to what I run, just have Kooks up front instead of Texas Speed. Even with the catted Y, the Magnaflow catback sounds great. Open up the cutout and you'll have a grin stuck on your face instantly.

Im gonna get a tune but just wanted to know what you guys thought....Oh yeah a few times after doing some hard pulls wot= i had a dtc- (02 codes)....cant remember what they were off hand.

I hear ya! @ first when i picked up my car from the shop it was so sweet to go from factory to my mods (Lt`s, y ,catback) It sounded so beefy compared to stock...yet i heard some other f-bodies and stangs roll up and @ idle my Magna sounded kinda tame ...until i hit the pedal then i heard the howl!..I need to stay a little stealth anyway...dont wanna attract the local PD or Highway patrol..Theres a few guys runnin around town and in neighborhood( a WS6-a few Maros-a vette-a stang or two) with really loud set ups ...probably non-catted and slp lm...but a guy @ a local Firestone shop who i dont even know but sees/hears my car says mine sounds so much better then theirs and that yeah they are louder and raspy..but mine sounds more deep and clean? So thats always good to hear..But thats why i wanna get C/O `s..so when i wanna get more rumble i can and when i wanna be a lil mellower i can.

Gotta love the sound of a Magnaflow. After I helped install a Magnaflow catback on a fellow member's Firehawk, I was pleased with the results.
