Mufflex bump stop hanger doesn't fit
I've spent over 2 hours trying to get this thing to fit so my fucking y pipe stops banging. The bump stop hanger will not fit on there because the y pipe is too close to the bolt that the hanger attaches to between the heat shield. who else has done this??? i can't see anyway it would fit on there and i'm following the diagrams exactly. It's a POS pacesetter y pipe

I haven't seen one of these up close but from the description I would think you could just mount it somewhere else with a self tapping screw or something like that. The heater hose will eventually flatten out enough that it'll fall out so keep a few pieces cut and handy. The best way is to play with the exhaust to get the clearance you need and then it won't bang.
