Mods?
Besides Cat-Back Exhaust, can anyone give me a list of mods, that are somewhat reasonable in price...that will make my car quicker?
Also, what does a throttle body and a throttle body spacer do, and how much of a gain would they give me?

I assume your talking about your 3.8 V6 car. I'm not sure what the good mods are for the V6, but the ported throttle body is great for improved performance and driveability on the V8 cars. I'm sure a cold air intake will help and headers should as well but headers aren't that cheap.

I agree with the fellas above. Save your money and buy a LS1. In the mean time dont abuse the v-6 too much. They are made just to cruise in-I found this out the hard way when I was young. After my first V-6 it was nothing but V-8s from then on for me.

N02 baby. I used to have a 2000 v6 automatic. Had a flowmaster muffler, 75 shot of nitrous (NX kit), K&N and a tune I got all these mods brandnew/installed fairly cheap. Bet time was 14.06 dont remember the mph, and my average was low 14's. Now I'm running the same NX kit on my ls1 with just boltons and am running mid 11's around 118mph 60' 1.65 to 1.70 defferent on every pass.

To those who actually gave me ideas, i appreciate them....for everyone else who didnt answer my question, and told me to get an ls1, this is what i have to say; im 16. my parents arent gonna put me behind the wheel of an ls1, and neither are they gonna pay the insurance. so, do me a favor and answer my questions, because im interested in working on my car, i just dont know where to start.
