Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Without alot more detail and put simply; NOS.
Alittle more seriously and reliably, heads and a cam.
Why 400hp? Is it a DD? Worried about ET?

Arctic White- 01 TA / 06 Duc 749D
Is your TA an A4 or M6? Also are you planning on a gear swap or sticking with the stock set? What intake did you go with? What CB are you running? Just a few ?'s to start with so we can maybe be a lil more helpful. I dyno'd 378rwhp and about the same tq on a dynojet after my cam/stall/A4 upgrade. Mods are in sig, this should givr you an idea of what you might be looking at. Of course if I had upgraded the heads and maybe even threw in some roller rockers I might have been closer, if not at the 400 mark. I've seen some H/C combos on this board easily hit the 400rwhp mark, of course most of the other supporting mods were done also.
ASA Cam, Built A4, 3500 Stall, LT's, ORY, Hooker CB, E Cut-out, Lid, Modified SSRA, , SFC's,UMI Tq Arm w/relo, Spohn LCA's, 3.73's, Free Mods, Dyno tuned by James @ SpeedShift Performance. Need more suspension mods!!!

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
Build your drivetrain first. The hp is worthless when you're sitting on the side of the road with a busted rear differential, or something else. After that, do a heads, cam, and intake. That'll put you over the 400 mark.

You can hit 400 with a cam and 243s.

I wouldn't put HP as a goal.
If you're an automatic, the best bang for your dollar is a stall.
If you're a M6, you're going to have to get a cam and better heads.
I wouldn't just go getting a large cam to just hit a number though. Drive-ability is something to factor in, and if you're an auto, you really should be matching up your cam to your stall.
