I will add that the best thing to do 1st is to build a solid suspension first. Power means spit if it can't be put to the ground. Most bolt ons can be down in the home garage, but there are some that require special tools.
Our cars weakness is the rear end. It has been know to blow on stock power. Now throw on C/H/I and it's not is but when once you cross over the 400 RWHP mark.
Research the hell out of what you want, take notes ask questions. Map it out. I have a spreed sheet that has current and future parts/mods with cost and vendors. It may seem to much, but I can look at it and tell you everything about it and it keeps me organized and helps to budget projects. Doing a build takes time and $$$, mostly $$$ The average build is 3-5 yrs. Shorter then that and it all comes down to is that they had a big bank roll to invest up front or they are on tv with Corp sponsorship.

yeah this ysummer is bolt ons and up keeps stuff...
then of course... suspesions...
then we will see what goes from there.
