Mixed oil weights.
Sup guys,
I own a 98 z28 ls1. Changed my oil tonight. Here's the problem. I usually use 10w 30 mobil 1 gold cap in my car, and 15w 50 mobil 1 gold cap in my bikes.
Somewhere when I was pouring the oil in, I accidentally put a quart of 15w 50 in there. So now I have 1 qt of 15w 50 and 4.5 qts of 10w 30 in my ls1. uggh.
She cranks up fine, obviously. My dad said he wouldn't worry about it, it should be diluted enough.
What you guys think? Need to drive 2 hours tomorrow.
Oh yea, both 15w 50 and the 10w 30 are fully synthetic.
