Red- 2001 Camaro SS A4
might be getting back into an LS1 again...
okay so I used to have a Firehawk M6 back in the day and i fell in love with the LS1..had to sell it due to finances and technical problems with the car. I test drove a A4 Z28 today with 163k on it...
now before you say anything rest assured...honestly if he would have told me the car had 30k on the clock i would have believe him....this car felt AMAZING for 163k on it. He wants $5k for it, that is the lowest he will go and I am really not looking for anything. The car feels reliable,,has not one shake..the transmission shifts like it was new, the LS1 of course is a bad ass within itsself. I was just simply amazed. He's always kept the car up...the high miles are due to highway miles. I didnt see a scratch on the car either which amazed me too but it does have a small dent in the left rear q panel. easy fix. I want to get rid of my third gen so bad and i miss the gas mielage/power ratio of the LS1 cars.
what do you think guysLast edited by blackhawk01; 07-27-2008 at 05:03 PM.

i had a 96 with 171k one time and it ran like it had 20k. the engine was fully rebuilt a new tranny shocks, lowering springs, exhaust headers and had a cai new tires, rims, and ran 10x better then ones with 100k stock and reliable i never had 1 thing go roung with it besides a blinker light and it costed me 2 dollars. you just got to maintain it and make sure the major things have been rebuilt/new.

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
If it seems good have a compression test and a leakdown test on the engine. If the owner has all the maintenance records that will tell you that everything was taken care of.
