You local parts store should carry an arisol can of MAF cleaner. Just follow the directions on the can.

i took mine apart and used a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean it. worked good just get all the lint from the qtip off when done.

Parts stores sells maf cleaner. Dont try to port or polish the maf, Your just looking for trouble. But its ok to do up the throttle body.

I'd just spray it with any MAF cleaner. Some folsk use Q-tips however I wouldn't suggest it, they may have steady hands and you may not. Not worth the headache

It's really easy cause there is an accordian bellow between it and the lid, slips on and off quite easily.

Either go for a drive or heat it up with a hair dryer. Should come off easier if it's warm. It's been so long ago I don't even remember how I got mine off or how it was connected to the stock box.

I just remove my airbox and then the bellows from the throttle body. You should be able to wiggle off without too much incident.
