Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer
I tried this additive during a long trip. I was running Pennzoil Platinum 5/30 in my engine. My oil pressure seemed to be slowly dropping as the trip progressed. I checked and I was a half quart low. I stopped and added a quart of the Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer.
My oil pressure went back up to 60 lbs and stayed there the rest of the trip.
I changed my oil when I returned (5000M). The sample went to Blackstone labs. They identify it as a viscosity improver.
Now the good part: The iron reading was the lowest ever for my engine (8 PPM), aluminum and copper were lower as well. I really don't know what this stuff is, but it works!
It is in my motor from now on!
