is lt1 and ls1 y pipe the same?

i am wanting to know if an lt1 kooks 3" y would work on my 99 ls1

I'm sure somebody can answer this a little better than myself, but I know the 93-95s had the single-cat Y, whereas the 96s and 97s had the dual-cat setup, as the 98-02s did. Now if the exact measurements are the same, I am not sure. If you had a 97-97, I wouldn't see why you wouldn't be able to swap an ORY from an LS1 and put it on there with minimal adjustments but hey, I'm not the expert

No, they are not, at least on the earlier lt's (93-94) they arent.

My 96 LT1 and 98 LS1 y pipes would not have matched up.

You might be able to utilize one if it was aftermarket but stock for stock they are different.
