    LT1 head gaskets

    Planning out to install heads/cam, so will be replacing head gaskets... I was told to look for impala head gaskets, but i figured you guys will know best. 1996 lt1

    For what it's worth, I think the Impala gaskets drop the compression ratio. I can't remember for sure, it's been a long time since I looked into it, but I was warned away from that by a lot of people. Fel Pro makes a really nice gasket! I know a bunch of guys running them on high hp cars with a lot of NOS or superchargers and haven't had any problems. Check 'em out.
