    lt1 dying while driving

    I have a 97 trans am. It will start fine and drive sometimes 1 hour of as fast as fives minutes and just dies. After sitting for about thirty minutes it starts up as if nothing happens. No codes appear also. Driving me insane

    Once it dies have you checked to see if you have fuel and spark still?
    Lt's,SFC,3,600 Fuddle stall,Spohn Adj. tunnel mount torque arm, BMR LCA,Ls6 intake,Air lid,Under drive pulley,S60 rear,Frost tune and a few more things I cant remember.

    How many miles? Original fuel pump? If so, the pump could be dying. We need more info.

    I'm going to say fuel pump.

    or fuel filter? also it never hurts to check battery for dead cell....

    2004 pontiac gto

    weak fuel pump. My 99 chevy pickup ran like that before, it stalled just like yours. if you keep driving it the pump will quit all the way.
